This season of Project Runway is becoming the season to watch with unexpected contestants.
Jack has also been a competitive swimmer with 3 All-American titles and set a national record in 2006 in the breastroke leg of the 40×50 medley relay. He’ll also appear in the upcoming Sex In The City movie.
Jack also did a photoshoot with photographer Frank Lewis showing that in his case, the clothes don’t always make the man.
Jack will be leaving PR in Episode 5 amid controversy, so enjoy while you can.
See more after the jump.

So, we’ve all seen him naked. So, we know him, right?
We’ve showed him crying, designing, dating and flaunting. We’ve even bio’ed him a little bit.
I came across his longer bio on his website www.jackmackenroth.com and am just going to borrow the first paragraph here…
Jack Mackenroth is originally from Seattle, Washington where he lived with his mother, brother and sister. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a double degree in Fine Arts and Sociology. He moved to New York in 1991 to attend the prestigious Parsons School of design where he studied Fashion Design. Fresh out of Parsons, Jack opened a menswear store in the uberchic West Village called ‘Jack’. There he showcased new designers along side upscale brands such as Gaultier Junior, Diesel and John Richmond. In 1997 he went to work for Tommy Hilfiger, designing knits for the women’s line and doing fashion illustrations for the entire division. From there he went back into menswear designing for the Slates brand under the Levis umbrella. Before appearing on Season 4 of Project Runway he was the Design Director at Weatherproof Active wear for the past 4 years.”
Again, that was just the first paragraph. He’s actually quite impressive it seems. I’m not so sure what exactly he’s doing on Project Runway.

No matter what happens on Runway E5, Jack is doing great and once his confidentiality agreement runs out, we’ll hear more! Best wishes, Jack.
